Step 1: Create Your Student Account
Start by creating your NotaryBrand student account using your legal name and email address.
Your registration name is important because it will be used for your student account and certificates. For certificate integrity and account protection, account names cannot be changed later except for a verified legal name change or approved correction.
Step 2: Choose the Course That Fits Your Situation
California notaries may need different courses depending on their status.
If you are a new applicant, expired notary, or do not qualify for the shorter renewal course, you may need the California 6-hour notary course.
If you are a current California notary renewing on time and meet California’s renewal requirements, you may qualify for the California 3-hour renewal course.

Step 3: Enroll Once and Get Ongoing Access

Return for Future Renewals

If your commission expires and California requires you to take the 6-hour course again, you can return to the same familiar platform and complete the course you need.
