These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the At Notary Brand LLC, we want students to feel confident when enrolling in our courses. Many California notaries plan ahead for their next commission or renewal, and we understand that your timing may change.
That is why we offer a generous 4-year refund policy for eligible students who enroll but do not complete their course.

4-Year Refund Policy

Notary Brand LLC offers a refund period of up to four years from the original purchase date, provided that the applicable course has not been completed and no certificate has been issued.
This policy allows students to enroll early, lock in current pricing, and take the course when they are ready.

Why We Offer a 4-Year Refund Window

California notaries often plan ahead for future renewals. Instead of waiting until the last minute or paying higher prices later, students may choose to enroll now and complete their course at a later date.
We created this refund policy to give students peace of mind.
If your plans change and you do not complete the applicable course, you may request a refund within four years of purchase, subject to the terms below.

Refund Eligibility

You may be eligible for a refund if all of the following conditions are met:
1. Your refund request is submitted within four years of the original purchase date;
2. The applicable course has not been completed;
3. No certificate of completion has been issued;
4. The refund request is submitted through a support ticket from inside your student account;
5. You are the original purchaser and registered student;
6. Your account has not been suspended or terminated for violation of our Terms & Conditions.

How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, you must submit a support ticket from inside your NotaryBrand student account.
This requirement helps us verify the identity of the account holder, protect student privacy, and prevent unauthorized refund requests.
Refund requests submitted by email, phone, text message, social media, payment processor dispute, or any method other than a support ticket from inside the student account may not be accepted.

No Refunds After Course Completion

Refunds are not available after the applicable course has been completed.
Once a course is completed, or once a certificate of completion has been issued, the purchase becomes non-refundable.
This applies to California notary courses, renewal courses, Signing Agent courses, certificates, and other eligible course materials.

Lifetime Course Access Purchases

Lifetime Course Access purchases may be eligible for a refund within four years only if the applicable course has not been completed and no certificate has been issued.
If you enrolled in Lifetime Course Access but later decide not to complete your course, you may request a refund within four years through your student account.
Once you complete a course or receive a certificate, the purchase is no longer refundable.

Family Plan Refunds

For Family Plan purchases, refund eligibility depends on course completion and certificate status for the students included under the plan.
A Family Plan refund may be denied if one or more students under the plan has completed an applicable course or received a certificate.
If neither student has completed a course and no certificate has been issued, the original purchaser may request a refund within four years through the student account support ticket system.

Non-Refundable Items

The following are not refundable:
1. Completed courses;
2. Courses for which a certificate has been issued;
3. Accounts terminated for fraud, abuse, account sharing, or violation of our Terms & Conditions;
4. Purchases outside the 4-year refund period;
5. Course access used by someone other than the registered student;
6. Downloaded or accessed digital materials, where Notary Brand LLC determines substantial value has been received;
7. Any third-party fees or charges not controlled by Notary Brand LLC.

Account Sharing and Transfer Abuse

Student accounts are personal and non-transferable.
Refunds may be denied if Notary Brand LLC determines that an account was shared, transferred, sold, misused, or accessed by someone other than the registered student.
The name entered during registration is used for the student account and certificates and cannot be changed except for a verified legal name change or approved correction.

Chargebacks and Payment Disputes

Students agree to contact Notary Brand LLC through the student account support ticket system before initiating a chargeback or payment dispute. A chargeback or payment dispute is not a substitute for our refund process.
Filing a chargeback or payment dispute may result in temporary or permanent suspension of account access while the matter is reviewed.
If a refund is available under this policy, it must be requested through the student account support ticket system.

Refund Processing

Approved refunds will generally be issued back to the original payment method.
Processing times may vary depending on the payment processor, bank, or card issuer.
Notary Brand LLC is not responsible for delays caused by third-party payment processors, banks, or financial institutions.

Price Changes

Course prices, membership prices, and promotional offers may change at any time.
If prices increase or decrease after your purchase, you are not entitled to a price adjustment, partial refund, or credit unless Notary Brand LLC expressly offers one in writing.
