Course Access
Lifetime Course Access means you enroll once and receive ongoing access to eligible NotaryBrand courses through your student account, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This may include California notary courses, renewal courses, free Signing Agent courses, certificates, and professional notary education resources.
Most notaries have to pay again every time they need renewal training. We wanted to offer something different.
With NotaryBrand, you can enroll once, complete the course you need now, and return for eligible future renewal courses without paying extra for course access again.
No. You can enroll now and take the course when you are ready.
Many students join early to lock in current pricing and return later when the timing is right.
Plans changed? That’s fine. With our 4-year refund policy, you have peace of mind.
If you do not complete the applicable course and no certificate has been issued, you may request a refund within four years of your original purchase date, subject to our Refund Policy.
California Notary Courses
That depends on your situation.
If you are a new California notary applicant, your commission has expired, or you do not qualify for the shorter renewal course, you may need the California 6-hour course.
If you are a current California notary renewing on time and meet California’s renewal requirements, you may qualify for the California 3-hour renewal course.
Students are responsible for confirming which course applies to their situation.
If your commission expires, California may require you to take the 6-hour course again.
With NotaryBrand Lifetime Course Access, you can return to your familiar student account and complete the course you need without paying extra for eligible course access again.

The Family Plan is for two eligible family members.
One family member enrolls in the Family Plan, then adds one additional eligible family member. It is perfect for spouses, a parent and adult child, or two family members who want to become or renew as California notaries.

The training is designed to help you understand the role, responsibilities, documents, professionalism, and expectations involved in loan signing work.
Student Account
No. Student accounts are personal and non-transferable. You may not share, sell, transfer, or allow another person to use your account.
No. The name entered during registration cannot be changed after enrollment, except in the case of a verified legal name change or approved correction.
Your name is used for your student account and certificates. Once enrolled, name changes are restricted to protect certificate integrity, prevent account sharing, and stop misuse of lifetime course access.
Lifetime access is priced for one registered student only. Allowing unrestricted name changes could allow accounts to be transferred, shared, or reused by different people, which would be unfair to other students and would make it difficult for NotaryBrand to continue offering affordable lifetime access.
Name changes are allowed only for a verified legal name change or an approved correction.
Minor typographical corrections may be requested through support and are approved at NotaryBrand’s discretion.
Refunds
NotaryBrand offers a 4-year refund policy for eligible purchases.
You may request a refund within four years of the original purchase date if the applicable course has not been completed and no certificate has been issued.
Refund requests must be submitted through a support ticket from inside your student account.
This helps us verify the identity of the account holder and protect student privacy.
